Surviving to a LDR during the holidays

The holidays are just around the corner people gather around to celebrate and share with their love ones… What is not to love about the holidays? They are the perfect excuse to party and enjoy time with friends and family and why not, forget about the diet.

Over a month ago I wrote about Long Distance Relationships, now with my boyfriend gone as not being here with me rigth now and the holidays here I got inspired so… I have few ideas to feel closer to your significant other even when they’re miles away.

Is your first Christmas together or have you spend the holiday together before? If you have spent many Christmas together before you must have like a tradition or something that makes that holiday yours so find a way to share it.  Is it a favorite recipe? Do you host a party every year? Travel to see your family? Whatever it is there’s a way you can share that tradition. If you have a special recipe cook together… not possible huh? You can skype while making dinner that way you’ll be cooking together or you can talk on the phone while making dinner. Let’s get creative, there’s always a way you can share whatever is yours even thou you’re miles apart.

If this is your first Christmas together try to make it more special and meaningful because you’re far apart. This is the exciting part ladies because you can get as creative as you want and they are a lot of ways you can do this and if you love surprises like I do then you’re really going to enjoy this. What is it that you would like to do if you were together? Is there a way to recreate it? There’s nothing better that surprising your significant other that’s the best part about surprises. Mail your Christmas presents and open them together on Christmas day.

Got plans for New Years?
Make a list of your new year’s resolutions and read them to each other.
Call each other to countdown together.
If you’re both partying take pictures and send them to each other.
Make a video of your last year’s best memories.

Feeling daring for New Years?
Here’s an idea! Mail your red panties to your significant other ;)

Have fun ladies!!

Do you have any other exciting ideas for this holidays?

Guest Post: Fair & Lovely Anti Marks

Tired of blemishes and Dark Spots?  Try Fair & Lovely Anti Marks
Cream – Review

Hello lovies,

Today I’m talking about getting rid of those blemishes and dark spots, which tend to put a damper on your mood every time you catch a glimpse of them!

Yes, the product I’m talking about has been tried and tested, and trust me it can work wonders for those skin troubles. Fair & Lovely Anti Marks Cream is under the spotlight today.

For Blemish-less Fair Skin. Specially designed for skin with marks and spots, with breakthrough Vita-Aloe Complex.

Lightens different kinds of marks.
Helps prevent spots from coming back, giving visible fairness.

My Experience:

I was getting really frustrated by dark spots, some caused by acne and some by excessive pigmentation buildup, when my dermatologist suggested me to try this. I didn’t have any hopes with this, but I decided to give it a go just because she said do. To my surprise, it has effectively reduced the darkness. I only use it at night, as it’s a bit too runny in consistency and I feel it makes my skin a bit oily after application, but even then it has helped my condition a lot. I figure if you use it twice a day, like it’s supposed to be used, it’ll be more effective.

  • Effectively reduces dark spots.
  • Moisturizes skin.
  • The smell gets a bit annoying at times.
  • Makes face a bit oily.
The smell is a bit of a downside, it’s very medicinal. But, you gotta give some to get some. And if you want to get rid of those dark spots, then give this a try! I got it for 95PKR(1$) in 25g tube, which is extremely inexpensive as far as creams go, from My Super Store.

Today's Topic: Respect

Today I want to write about something very very important RESPECT

The reason I’m writing about this topic today is because I can’t I just can’t stand people being unrespecful it really upsets me and you can see it happen every day, bullying, girls calling other girls by names, abusive relationship, people being abusive to others not only in a relationship, etc…

Being unrespecful with yourself or anyone else is just WRONG!!!
Why the lack of respect? being rude doesn’t made you braver, insulting people doesn’t make you rise higher, cursing people doesn’t make you any good, Being unrespecful just doesn’t make you more important and it definitely does not make people respect you.

Ladies have respect for yourself and don’t ever let anyone disrespect you!

There’s just not a reason to disrespect someone. What you give is what you get in return so if you want to be respected start respecting others. Now I know there’s always going to be people you don’t like or some people might not like you but there is not one single reason why you should be unrespecful  is just not acceptable.

Women are beautiful creatures that God create to give life, yes ladies that’s how important we are and we deserve to be respected.

Guest Post: Pink Nancy

Pink Nancy by Sapil – Review

Hello lovies,

This is my first guest post for Chickstyle, but you’ll be reading a lot more from me here. Today I’m talking about one of my recent favorites, Pink Nancy by Sapil.

Pink Nancy is ideal for all-day use, with neo, elegant yet fresh and tranquil mood apparent at the first whiff. The heart of Pink Nancy relishes classic floral and spicy blend eloquently and serenely flowing, mixing warmly with amber notes in the end.

I’ve been using it for over a month now, and I can safely say that it can be used everyday as it makes you smell and feel fresh. I have both the Pink Nancy Deodorant & Perfume, and if you don’t already know, layering helps the fragrances last much longer. By layering I mean using different products with the same notes, or ones that flatter each other’s notes. It is preferable if you use products from the same product line.

Pink Nancy lasts on me for around 5-6 hours. The fragrance is very fruity and fresh. It’s Eau De Parfum, and I got the set for 20$, the perfume is in 50ml bottle and the Pink Nancy Deodorant in 6.6fl oz spray can.

My Shopping Tips

Is not a secret that I love shopping, I go crazy for cloths and shoes and jewelry and everything that catch my eye. I have my favorites designers and stores but the truth is that I buy anything that I like anywhere, I don’t care much if is designer or not, if is a well-recognized brand or not, if I like it I’ll buy it and that’s why I want to share some things I have learned about shopping and caring for clothing.

**Golden rules**
If you don’t love it, don’t buy it.
If  is not versatile, better think twice about it. I’m not saying don’t buy it but just think if it would be worth of buying and is not going to be just sitting on your closet.
If you have nothing that goes with what you’re buying don’t buy it unless you buying something that goes with it.
If it’s not flattering don’t buy it.
If you like it but can’t picture yourself wearing it, don’t even think about it.

Now with my golden rules establish let’s talk about shopping.

The most important thing that you must always look for is quality. Trust me you wont like the disappointment when you find out that your just bought piece is not longer wearable after you wash it or after the first two times you wore it.

Always look for the materials of your clothing, If is pricey it better be worth it! Clothing made out of natural fibers are the best but they can be more expensive, some materials like silk, wool, mohair and cashemere are quite pricey but are definitely worth it.

Is super important to know how to care for your clothing that’s why you should take the time to read the labels. I’ve learned this the hard way ha ha.  Labels are there for a reason and if you want your precious clothing to last have to know how to care for them.

Do seek for sales! You can find great findings at sales especially when the season is ending so take advantage of it.

If you’re buying shoes please make sure they are comfortable to walk with and won’t hurt your feet there’s  nothing chic about being in pain and feeling uncomfortable. Blistered feet are not pretty.

 Happy Shopping!!

Oatmeal recipe

Good morning ladies!!!

Today I woke up inspired put Adele’s album on and start making breakfast. Now not that you mind what I do in the morning but I just want to share my joy with you all. So here’s my Sugarless Oatmeal recipe.
I didn’t measure anything that I used but here’s what you need.
  • Oatmealh
  • Coconut flakes
  • Almonds (crushed, halves, chopped, it doesn’t matter)
  • 1 banana (chopped)
  • Cinnamon
First toasted the coconut flakes and the almonds separately.
Put water to boil or milk, add cinnamon and the oatmeal. Let it boil untill oatmeal is done. Pour the oatmeal on a bowl with the toasted coconut flakes and banana. The mix gives flavor to the oatmeal so you wont notice is sugarless.

Oatmeal has many benefits for your health. It helps reduce cholesterol, helps your digestion and keeps sugar level low in blood. It’s also a good source of protein. So there you have it is yummy and healthy! ;)

The week is almost over… any excited plans for the weekend?
