My Experience:

I was getting really frustrated by dark spots, some caused by acne and some by excessive pigmentation buildup, when my dermatologist suggested me to try this. I didn’t have any hopes with this, but I decided to give it a go just because she said do. To my surprise, it has effectively reduced the darkness. I only use it at night, as it’s a bit too runny in consistency and I feel it makes my skin a bit oily after application, but even then it has helped my condition a lot. I figure if you use it twice a day, like it’s supposed to be used, it’ll be more effective.

Pros:

• Effectively reduces dark spots.
• Moisturizes skin.

Cons:

• The smell gets a bit annoying at times.
• Makes face a bit oily.

The smell is a bit of a downside, it’s very medicinal. But, you gotta give some to get some. And if you want to get rid of those dark spots, then give this a try! I got it for 95PKR(1$) in 25g tube, which is extremely inexpensive as far as creams go, from My Super Store.

Let's talk: Mascara

I was talking to a friend earlier about mascara and I want to know what’s more important for you when looking for the right mascara. Do you look for the formula or the wand? It’s a tricky question huh.
I personally look for the right wand for my eye lashes but if the formula don’t hold my lashes it creates a hot mess so here’s the dilemma ladies what do you think?

When a girl is bored…She goes shopping!

Ok it was not a shopping spree but I did bough some things that i need it on my cosmetic bag and as a beauty junkie that I am I have to share my love and contentment for Maybelline. Seriously I swear by Maybelline’s mascara! I love them!

I’ve been using Great Lash for a long time now and this weekend I run out of mascara so I went to buy more stuff and I couldn’t resist to lots of lashes cute presentation the cute heart-shaped wand caugth my attention, my lashes are long but thin are there not that many so I thougth that was the right wand for me and I was not wrong. The wand gets to every lash for the small ones to the stubborn ones . I felt in love with this mascara that I’m sticking to it.

What I like the most is that my lashes feels ligth and look natural and fabulous. I would also like to try Volum’ Express the falsies. Hmm…I guess I’ll have to buy it during the week. I would really like to see for myself if it really gives the dramatic effect of falsies.

Girls you know that I've been complaining about my hair these past days because the humidity in the weather does not like my hair at all so lately every day is like a bad hair day. Well... every day was a bad hair day untill last week.

My aunt recommend me TRESemme Naturals months ago but I never listen to her because I was happy with my last shampoo Thermal Recovery also from TRESemme. I used Thermal Recovery for months because I straighten my hair almost every day to style my bob (haha I had a bob but now it kinda turn into a shapeless lob) any way I stop using heat on my hair because I start to see split ends and since I'm trying to grow my hair split ends are the enemy so since I stop using heat I listen to my aunt and switch to TRESemme Naturals.

Today I want to write about self-love and why is so important.

Have you ever heard about what you give is what you receive? Well now imagine if you despise yourself  what are you going to get in return? nothing good for sure.

When you smile the world becomes bright when you love yourself the world becomes a better place by just simply loving yourself. When you love yourself you become capable of loving someone else.

Girlies! there is not a single reason why you should love yourself we all have flaws because we are not perfect but embrace those flaws because you are perfectly imperfect so boost that self esteem and love yourself.

If you love yourself you believe in yourself and if you believe in yourself there’s nothing you can’t do.

Is beauty being overrated or is just marketing?

To be a girl who writes about beauty and fashion this might be contradictory but I think is true. Have you ever think about it?  Every time I see a Sedal commercial about damage hair it makes me run my fingers thru my hair and wonder if is damage. Does this happened to any of you?

It really makes me think about beauty I think that there’s no ugliness everything’s about perspective so I don’t think there’s ugly women I think there are just untidy so I’m asking myself if beauty is being overrated or is just marketing.

You know who says beautiful women have to wear make up or dress up or color their hair well I think that’s just because of vanity but is that beauty of is that what marketing is selling.

Eyeliner. A black liquid eyeliner is a must have, it gives a dramatic and mysterious look to your eyes and to complete this look nothing better than a good pair of fake lashes. I don’t know about you but I’m a big fan of falsies because you can play them to  flatter your eyes. Last but not least Mascara, mascara can plump, curl and give volume to your eye lashes so your make up can look finish and complete. For a better result try on a primer that not only helps you to hold on the mascara it also conditions your lashes and prevents damage.

Magnetic Nail Polish: The Next Big Manicure Trend?.

Have you heard about his before? Magnetic Nail Polish.

If you haven’t  then you really have to read this. It is new to me and I find it amazing. I so want to try this nail polish! Let me tell you what I just find out about this nail polish, its formula has magnetize particles in it so whenever it gets close to a magnet  the color changes into cool patters just like the picture above. Isn’t this awesome? I think this polish is a must have  this season.

DIY: Facial Exfoliant

Every Sunday I like to pamper myself  and I want to share this recipe  of my favorite exfoliant with you so you can use it.
You’ll need:

• 1 tablespoon of raw sugar
• 1/2 tablespoon of ground coffee
• few lemon drops
• 1/2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
• 1 small bowl

So after mixing all the ingredients apply the exfoliant on your face and massage in circles for a couple of minutes so the olive oil can moisture your skin. Rinse with water, apply moistening lotion and you’re ready to go. You’ll see that your skin feels very soft.

DIY: Glitter Nails

I was bored, too much spare time and nothing much to so I came up with and idea. I give my nails one coat of clear nail polish and trew glitter on them before the polish dry. To fishish them up I put one coat of nail polish on top so they last more and the glitter don’t fall out.

One Tip:
Be carefull to remove the glitter because if you rub too hard the glitter can scratch your nails. You can dip your nails on polish remover for a few seconds and then take it off with a cotton ball.

Avocado Hair Mask

Warning:
Do not apply this mask on being near pugs because they’ll go crazy (LOL)

You need:

• 1 avocado (1/2 if you have short hair)
• 1 tbsp olive oil or almond oil.
• 1 egg yolk
• a bowl

Smash the avocado into the bowl and make sure is well smash other wise when you apply the mask on the pieces left will fall out in the floor and make a big mess (did not happened to me at all…ha ha) after smashing the avocado mix it with the olive oil and the egg yolk. Now you can apply from roots to ends giving a massage to the scalp for few minutes. After massaging wrap your hair around in a plastic bag and put a towel on. This will help to keep the heat that helps your hair to absorve the mask.
Leave the mask on for 30-40 min and then rinse and wash your hair. Make sure you to wash well your hair to avoid funky smelly hair. I rinse my hair and then I wash it twice to make sure I get rid of any residue because believe the odor is not pleasant.
